Data Input Administrator

 

We are recruiting for a Data Input Administrator to join a growing environmental testing business.

This is a varied, detail-focused role combining technical assessment, data entry and client reporting. You will review laboratory results, prepare classification reports and ensure information is recorded accurately across internal and client systems.

The position could suit someone with existing waste or soil classification experience, or a strong administrator from a technical, laboratory or environmental setting who is keen to develop specialist knowledge. Full training will be provided on the relevant systems and reporting platforms.

The role

• Reviewing incoming laboratory reports and sample results for allocated clients

• Preparing accurate classification reports and completing data input

• Updating internal and client systems with turnaround times, results and completed reports

• Liaising regularly with laboratory colleagues and internal teams, providing progress updates and resolving any discrepancies

• Maintaining accurate records while managing a busy and changing workload

• Supporting the wider technical team with data entry, reporting and related administration

About you

• Strong administration and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail

• Experience working in a busy office environment within an administration or data-entry role

• Comfortable working with technical information, reports and multiple systems

• Able to identify inconsistencies and communicate clearly when information needs checking

• Confident managing priorities and producing accurate work to deadlines

• Salary of £28,000–£30,000, depending on experience
